Make a perfectly flat saddle slot for optimum acoustic sound. Clean and flatten the bottom of a bridge slot with these double-sided files. Uniform saddle contact with the bottom of the bridge slot will maximize tone and volume. This is always important for acoustic tone and if you are fitting an under-saddle transducer (UST) it is critical for pickup response.
Two cutting edges: each steel file has coarse and fine-cut teeth on the long flat edges. Smooth sides and rounded ends won't damage the walls of the slot.
Two widths to fit standard acoustic guitar bridge saddle slots. You'll find many other uses as well - for example, they are ideal for truing up the bottom of Fender nut slots.
Set of 2 - 2mm and 3mm width, suitable for 3/32" and 1/8" bridge slots.
