Acoustic pickup jack socket, external mount

This jack socket is ideal if you need to mount a jack socket on the outside of your acoustic guitar - or indeed any instrument.

As supplied with market-leading K&K pickups.

Can be wired mono or stereo. The mono connections (tip and earth) are ready tinned for ease of soldering (and to help you identify the right connections). Can also be used to switch on an on-board battery - connect the battery between the ring and earth connections and it will be switched on when you insert a mono jack plug.

Fitted with a VHB adhesive tape pad for fitting - just peel off the protective film and press into place (if necessary cleaning the chosen location first).

Can be mounted on the instrument top, side, tailpiece, etc, or can be removed from the mounding clip if preferred.

Cannot be used for a stereo installation AND to switch a battery on.
