Sales: parts and tools - end pins

Good quality end pins finish your guitar off nicely. I stock a range of standard 5 degree taper designs, to fit most acoustics.

I also have a range of replacement end pins to fit guitars which have previously been reamed out for pickup endpin jacks.

I'll list a few interesting bits and pieces here - usually things I've been looking for and which represent an improvement over what's easily available. I'm not going to list everything I stock or can obtain here, so please feel free to contact me if you're looking for something.

End pin plugs (Larrivee/Taylor)

What do you do if you want to 'reinstate' a guitar which has previously been fitted with a pickup and now has a 1/2" diameter hole where the strapjack was fitted?

One option is to use the two-part metal fittings used by Larrivee and Taylor. The inner part grips the endblock, and the outer part is then screwed up tight using an allen key. These are available in chrome and gold.

Another option is the clever 'No-Jak' end pin. A white or black plastic, or ebony, pin slides into the 3/4"-long plastic expansion sleeve, and adjusts from inside the guitar with a black metal screw. 5/32" (4mm) Allen wrench required. The Allen-adjustable expansion sleeve gives a secure fit. And if you ever decide to plug in again, swapping back to your strap jack is no big deal.
